GRUH Finance Limited is a Housing Finance Company (HFC) recognized by the National Housing Bank (NHB).
GRUH offers loans for Purchase, Construction, Repair, Renovation and Extension of dwelling units. GRUH also offers loans for purchase of office premises to Professionals and Loan against existing Residential properties to Individuals. Loans are offered to Salaried individuals as well as Self Employed individuals where formal income proofs are not available.

Challenge

GRUH Finance was facing a challenge in managing paper based loan applications received across their 133 branches spread across 10 Indian states.

 

Receiving these applications and processing them for evaluation and approvals was a time consuming activity.

Solution

Logiciel Solutions provided a portal based solution where applicants could directly enquire or apply for a loan online. Their paper based forms were converted to smart online forms enabling user friendly and error less submission with support for file and image uploads. Logiciel Solutions also provided authorized logins for GRUH Agents to securely login and apply for Loans on behalf of their customers. GRUH Agents could further track the progress of the Loan Application online.
To further quicken the evaluation and approval process, Logiciel Solutions provided, in their respective role based authorized logins, tasklists to each user starting from a branch level customer care executive and going upward in the hierarchy to branch manager, area manager, territory manager and so on. Thus each user could take time bound action, coordinate with the customer or the GRUH Agent, and in the case it was not done, an automatic escalation to the higher up would take place.
Further functionality was provided to engage and interact with 3rd party consultants like lawyers, verification agents and valuation experts whereby tasks could be assigned to them through the application. The 3rd party consultants would login securely in their accounts to view and act upon assigned tasks and provide their expert opinion and reports.

Benefits to the customer

With a single system bringing together Loan Applicants, GRUH Agents and GRUH Employees at each level in the corporate hierarchy, there was a marked increase in efficiency and numbers.

Loan applications are being submitted online by loan seekers and GRUH Agents with all required documents attached. This has led to a quick turn around for each received inquiry and loan application for approvals along with increase in new applications.

With email based alerts and tasklists for all GRUH employee users at all hierarchy levels, the information about the status of each inquiry and loan application is readily available for follow ups and decision making process. This has added immense value to those in charge of taking decisions.
